Silvia and Michele opened Osteria Il Cappello in 1997, in the heart of Trento, turning their passion for cooking and hospitality into a simple, authentic and welcoming place.
A few years ago, his son Alberto, a sommelier, joined the team. He now takes particular care of the wine selection and helps manage the restaurant. His daughter Chiara also works alongside the family and helps in the dining room.
In the kitchen, chef Marcello Coser interprets this philosophy through dishes that combine the roots of the Trentino region with Mediterranean flavours and aromas, respecting seasonality and the quality of the ingredients.
